Basically, what you are doing is to give meaning with everyone involved in the organization to the buzzwords in fancy power-points that describe the strategy. “But surely we all think alike in this matter, don’t we?” To me personally it was an eye-opener to find out that this progresses only very slowly. What I have learned from the S-ray experience is that you should take time. Of course, this time is not given. So you must exert counter-pressure. And let go of timelines. So what if it will take longer? Strategy is not a project with a deadline. I’m envisioning strategy more and more as something that keeps continuing, that never finishes really. S-ray enables me to put this vision into practice.
